Wells County 4-H Fair slated for July 19-24
Here’s an item to put in your new yearly planner for 2014: The Wells County 4-H Fair is scheduled for July 19 through 24 at the 4-H Park in Bluffton.
The Wells County 4-H Association and the 4-H Council have already started planning for the event.
Officers of the 4-H Association for 2014 include Kent Ulmer, president; Karl Steiner, first vice president; Chad Captain, second vice president; Gretta Nusbaumer, secretary; Leah Sills, treasurer; and Brian Clark and Melissa Bolyn, executive board members.
4-H Council officers for 2014 are Cathy Neu, president; Ryan Steiner, vice president; and Chris Crickard, secretary.
The Indiana State Fair will be held Aug. 1 through Aug. 17.
Wells County 4-H officials recently attended the Indiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Conference held in Indianapolis. The conference included seminars on liability, insurance, entertainment, livestock health, social media, marketing and other topics.
