Families in northeast Indiana have an opportunity to host 4-H members and adult leaders from Poland during the first two weeks of June, 2011.
Hosts are needed for the youth (ages 12 – 18) and the adults. Families should be willing to share their home and community and involve them in local 4-H activities and meetings.
2011 will be the 7th year for the exchange with Indiana hosting during odd years and traveling to Poland in even years.
The Polish participants are from south central Poland (Swietokrzyski Region) north of Krakow.
Applications are due February 1 and a host family orientation will be held May 1.
For more information about the exchange or a host family application, contact the Wells County Extension Office, 824-6412 or Lee Stanish, Purdue International 4-H Coordinator, lstanish@purdue.edu or call 765-496-3585.
